CMMI Level 1 - Initial Level

What is Level 1 Initial in CMMI?

Level 1 defines the Basic practices that describe an initial approach to address the intent of the Practice Area and does not have the complete set of practices to meeting the full intent of the Practice Area.

Level 1 is the starting level of for an organization towards the journey of process improvement and shows the intent of organization towards process improvement and addressing the performance issues.
